Weddings and celebrations with mountain cuisine and accommodation
For your wedding, we support you with the organisation: from selecting a suitable chapel in the surrounding area, through floral arrangements and invitation cards, to arranging styling for your special day. An aperitif in our hotel garden and a carefully coordinated wedding menu at Filet et Fils can be incorporated into your celebration. External ceremony venues and our mountain restaurant Stafelalp are independent locations; we will coordinate the schedule with you.
At Filet et Fils you can expect creative cuisine with regional influences. In the winter season, our private fondue chalets invite you to dine in an intimate setting; each offers space for up to six people. After your event, you will find rooms with natural materials and alpine design in our four-star superior hotel. For overnight stays, our house can accommodate up to 62 guests. This figure refers to accommodation capacity and is not a seating capacity for your event.
Our hotel is located on the edge of the village with forest and mountain scenery. Hotel guests have access to a spa with steam bath, infrared chairs, experience shower and whirlpool. This way you can combine your celebration with a relaxing time in the mountains.

Loved our stay at Hotel Matthiol Zermatt! 🥰🥰🥰 Super nice and helpful staff, and the hotel has unbeatable views with the Matterhorn right behind it. The free spa is an absolute must-try, full of amazing alpine ritual vibes and great sense of ceremony. Highly recommended!
Everything was exceptional. I was traveling with a dog, and there were no issues. Dogs are allowed in the restaurant, during all services. Also in the bar. They charge an extra per night for the dog but I don't mind if this is justified, like here! Also they offer a blanket and bowls for the dog. The service, the food, the views. Amazing. Will try to come back!
Absolutely stunning hotel with excellent service.
Liegt am Ende von Zermatt, etwas abseits vom Touristen-Gewimmel. Rasche Zuwefung mit dem Bike oder zu Fuss Richtung Furi, Z'Mutt, Gitzi-Gädi, Stafelalp Hängebrücke, Gletschertor, .... Tolles Frühstücksbuffet, kleiner aber feiner Spa-Bereich und sehr netter Service. Bike-Waschplatz und kleine Service Station. Rund um gelungener Aufenthalt. Gepäckservice vom Bahnhof sehr unkompliziert.

Zermatt is car-free. For your arrival and departure, we offer a complimentary shuttle to and from the train station between 8 and 21 o'clock. Please inform us of your arrival time in advance.
