BBC Butterbarcafe

For your next party evening or a social visit with music, join us at BBC Butterbarcafe for bar life and events in Gossau's freight shed. Our history is closely linked to live music: since the first BBC OPEN, numerous Swiss and international acts have performed here. Daydance is also part of our event programme and brings music and encounters to the palm garden.

We have called the railway station area home since 2008. Inside, an oak wood and concrete bar sets the ambiance. Modern LED walls and 52 flat-screen televisions are part of our equipment. Outside, you will find a 400 square metre palm garden with palms over six metres tall. Depending on the seating arrangement, this space accommodates 350 to 500 guests. This figure refers to the palm garden; we can discuss the right setting for your visit.

During your stay, choose from our food and beverage menu: we serve BBC burgers, rösti and a Mediterranean bowl, among other dishes. Cocktails such as Gossau Mule and BBC Summer Spritz complement our beer, hot beverages and alcohol-free options. Combine your evening with us with food and drinks to your taste.

Since our opening in 2002, we have been a meeting place for young and young at heart. We accept reservations exclusively by telephone.
