About us
Cocktail bar on a cargo ship on the Rhine
Welcome aboard Bar Futura. On the middle deck of a converted cargo ship in Basel, above the club on the lower deck, a hidden world opens up on the water: a place between bar, lounge and cinematic retreat.
Architectural minimalism, warm orange lighting and the quiet tension of the night define the space. Chrome, glass and steel catch fine reflections, luminous ceiling panels create an atmosphere between elegance and underground culture. At the centre stands the bar with premium drinks and carefully crafted cocktails, each serve precise and perfectly suited to the ambiance of the room.
Detached from the outside world and yet in rhythm with the ship, the middle deck becomes a private world beyond the city. This makes Bar Futura an extraordinary backdrop for aperitifs, corporate events, birthdays and special moments.
Elegant, smoky, futuristic. Contact us and celebrate at a venue like no other in Basel.
