Your hall for banquets, meetings and lectures

Plan your banquet, meeting or lecture with us in the Bärensaal Thun. At weekends you can hire our sports and multipurpose room for your event. On weekdays, the hall is used for sports and versatile purposes. Clear capacity limits are available for your planning: the hall offers a maximum of 700 standing places, 500 seats with concert seating and a maximum of 400 seats with banquet seating.

Lighting and sound equipment support your event programme. The cloakrooms are also available to you free of charge. This gives you a practical setting for shared dining, a meeting or a lecture.

You can organise catering yourself or arrange it with an external catering service. Please note that the Bärensaal has neither a kitchen nor crockery. For catering, an application for a commercial catering licence must generally be submitted to the trade inspectorate six weeks before the event. Exceptions are self-catering without sales and catering by a restaurant.
