B-Movie Basel: Hire a private cinema for celebrations and film evenings

Behind a simple side entrance on Grellingerstrasse, a proper cinema hall opens up: red curtain, softly upholstered seats, a screen 4.6 metres wide. B-Movie in Basel's Gellert district is a single-screen cinema with 35 seats that you can hire entirely for your event. In the foyer, you'll find a bar, coffee machine, jukebox and a collection of vintage projectors and cameras - the reception is thus an integral part of the evening. Our projection booth covers almost all formats, from Super 8 to Digital Cinema Package, and a technician is included in the rental price. This works perfectly for birthdays and family celebrations as well as private film evenings, vernissages, exhibitions and small-scale presentations. Rental starts at CHF 350.- for the first three hours, including room, technician and cleaning; each additional half hour costs CHF 40.-.
