Atlantis

Over generations, the -tis has been the most famous music venue in Switzerland. Crazy stories surround the Atlantis. One filled with stars from the global and local music scene: For example, Black Sabbath made the -tis shake and even earlier the pianists Joe Turner and Don Gais. At -tis, the Lazy Poker Blues Band from Basel was a sort of house band. But also Rumpelstilz and Les Sauterelles performed here. TV star Heidi Abel hosted her live broadcasts here, which significantly increased the venue''s fame across the country. Since 1947 at the current location Klosterberg 13, the -tis with its wild and not always straightforward concept has been the living room for multiple Basel generations.
