What does Anuri do?

Accepted Answer

Anuri cooks for private occasions -- at your home, in a holiday house or at a venue. Four options: a multi-course menu at your own dining table, a private chef for an entire stay, a travelling chef abroad and private events for up to 50 guests. Cooking is always done on-site; nothing is delivered.

Who will be in my kitchen on the evening?

Accepted Answer

The person you speak with from the beginning. Behind Anuri is a trained chef with years of experience as a head chef in Zurich restaurants. Anuri is not a placement portal: there is no call centre and no chef you meet for the first time on the evening.

Question 3

In which area does Anuri cook?

Accepted Answer

The core area is the Zurich Gold Coast between Zurich and Rapperswil, followed by the entire Canton of Zurich. For multi-day stays, Anuri travels to the rest of Switzerland, the Alpine region and Ticino. Travel and any accommodation are listed as separate items in the quotation. Travel abroad is handled through Anuri Travel Chef.

What does it cost?

A four-course menu at home costs around CHF 190 per person. A private chef for a stay starts at CHF 1,500 per day, regardless of the number of guests. For private events, a price can only be determined reliably after an initial consultation. Products, travel and any rental costs are listed separately in the quotation. Guide prices, as of 2026.

For how many guests does Anuri cook?

Accepted Answer

Fine dining at home for 2 to 20 guests, a private chef in a holiday house for 2 to 14 guests, a trip for up to 16 guests and private events for up to 50 guests. The limit of 50 is a deliberate decision: beyond that, cooking becomes logistics.

Question 6

Does my kitchen need to be anything special?

Accepted Answer

No. Four hobs, an oven and a normal refrigerator are sufficient, plus a work surface where two people can stand side by side. Whether induction, gas or ceramic hob makes no difference. Anything missing, Anuri will bring.

Question 7

How much lead time do you need?

Accepted Answer

For a dinner at home and for a stay, two weeks is comfortable; for a private event, two to three months; for a trip, four to six weeks. Over Christmas, New Year and in February, it is worthwhile to book considerably earlier. Last-minute enquiries are still worth a try -- it depends on the date.

How does an enquiry work?

In four steps. You send the location, date, number of guests and occasion via the form. Within 24 hours, we follow up with a conversation about the framework, budget and preferences. You will then usually receive a menu proposal and a quotation with all items listed separately within two to four days. It becomes binding only with your confirmation.

Question 9

How do you handle allergies, vegetarian and vegan requirements?

Accepted Answer

Allergies and intolerances are solved in the menu, not by omitting courses: someone who doesn't eat gluten doesn't get one fewer course. Vegetarian and vegan menus are complete and nutritious, even if only one person at the table eats this way.

Question 10

What does the kitchen look like after the evening?

Accepted Answer

The same as before. Anuri washes up, tidies away and takes the rubbish with them; rental items are packed and returned. You should remain at the table throughout the entire evening and never have to set foot in the kitchen.
