Acqua

For your aperitif, a shared dinner and a celebration with dancing, we combine Italian cuisine with the different areas of our former waterworks at Acqua. Begin your event in the Mediterranean garden, enjoy your meal in the Osteria and continue the evening in our lounge. This allows you to create different moments of your celebration in one location.

Our Osteria is located at Nachtigallenwäldeli between Heuwaage and Zoo. The path along the Birsig through the park sets the mood for you and your guests. Since 2005, we have welcomed our guests in the old buildings of the waterworks. The largely preserved rooms, powerful stone walls and industrial character define the setting. Added to this are warm lighting, chandeliers and the cosy atmosphere at the fireplace.

In the Osteria, gently flowing water accompanies your meal; our Italian cuisine comes from the open kitchen. At the long bar, you can enjoy an aperitif or digestif whilst standing. For a relaxed conclusion, spacious leather sofas await in the adjacent lounge. Drinks and cocktails complement the offering. In summer, our garden extends your stay outdoors. For planning your event, the Osteria, the central section and the lounge are available as different areas under one roof.
