For your celebration, we welcome you in elegant event rooms and on a terrace in a green setting. The location in the hills of Mendrisiotto creates a natural setting for intimate gatherings as well as larger celebrations. Outdoor events are also part of our offering: a meal with the aroma of grilled food gives your event its own character. We will personally coordinate with you which areas and which sequence suit your celebration.
Our kitchen, under the direction of Chef Andrea Bertarini, combines local ingredients with contemporary culinary craftsmanship. Seasonality, carefully selected products and attention to detail characterize our dishes. This makes the shared meal a supporting part of your celebration. We also offer customized catering and grilling services. With the hospitality of our house, we want to give you a place where you feel comfortable and can enjoy your event with your guests.

Gestern haben wir im Ristorante Montalbano by Mirko Rainer fantastisch gegessen! Unser Gastgeber Mirko und sein Team haben uns mit einem köstlichen Rehrücken verwöhnt. Das Fleisch war wunderbar zubereitet und wurde spektakulär auf einem wunderschönen, eigens angefertigten Bronzeabguss eines echten Rehgeweihs serviert. Dazu gab es eine köstliche Auswahl an Gemüse und weiteren Beilagen, darunter herrliche Kastanienstückchen. Zur Abrundung dieses Genusserlebnisses wurden wir sogar noch mit einem zweiten Teller überrascht. Ein hervorragender Wein und ein fantastisches Dessert machten das Erlebnis perfekt. Absolut empfehlenswert. Wir kommen wieder!
We got invited to a wedding this weekend and Mirko created such a perfect and meticulously detailed. The place is extremely beautiful, food and drinks stunning, service amazing. Mirko checked at any time everything was perfect and everyone was happy. We got soooo much different foods at any time! But the details were impressing: luna park pop corn cart, ice cream cart, pasta cooked in front of you for example. I honestly believe he could have not done a better job.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ein ganz besonderer Abend im Ristorante Montalbano! Obwohl heute ein spezieller Abend war und eigentlich nur ein festes Menü angeboten wurde, hat sich der Besitzer persönlich die Mühe gemacht, für uns etwas Besonderes zuzubereiten. Wir bekamen extra Fleisch und einen Salat – praktisch ein eigenes Menü nur für uns. 😊 Diese Gastfreundschaft und Flexibilität haben wir wirklich sehr geschätzt. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt und möchten uns nochmals ganz herzlich beim Besitzer und dem gesamten Team bedanken. Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend und die besondere Aufmerksamkeit. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder – bis zum nächsten Mal! ❤️
