A wonderful dining experience with a stunning view over Lake Lucerne. The Villa Herb Soup was the highlight of the meal and is a must-try. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even helped arrange a car from our hotel and ensured we got to the train station smoothly. Excellent food, beautiful setting, and outstanding hospitality.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Für alle, die aus Luzern oder der Umgebung kommen und eine Hochzeitslocation suchen: Wir können die VILLA Schweizerhof von Herzen empfehlen. Das Ambiente ist traumhaft und die Aussicht auf den Vierwaldstättersee sowie den Pilatus einfach atemberaubend. Für uns war es die perfekte Kulisse für unseren schönsten Tag. Ein grosses Kompliment geht an Marcel, den Küchenchef und sein Küchenteam. Das Essen war sensationell und von unseren Gästen gab es ausschliesslich begeisterte Rückmeldungen. Besonders das Rindsfilet war ein absolutes Highlight. Ein riesiges Dankeschön geht auch an Mamo, den Chef de Service und sein Team. Der Service war während des gesamten Tages und Abends sehr professionell, aufmerksam und herzlich. Ebenfalls möchten wir uns bei Lukas, dem Betriebsleiter, bedanken. Obwohl er am Hochzeitstag selbst nicht vor Ort war, hat er uns während der gesamten Vorbereitungszeit tatkräftig unterstützt und dafür gesorgt, dass alles genau so umgesetzt wurde, wie wir es uns vorgestellt hatten. Wir hätten uns keine bessere Location für unsere Hochzeit wünschen können und sind überzeugt, die absolut richtige Entscheidung getroffen zu haben. Vielen herzlichen Dank an das gesamte Team der VILLA Schweizerhof für diesen unvergesslichen Tag!

A very pleasant setting, a beautifully maintained property with plenty of greenery, and genuinely kind and attentive staff. The overall atmosphere and service were at a very high level, and this is clearly one of the more elegant and atmospheric restaurant settings in Lucerne. However, the food we had did not fully match the quality of the setting. We ordered the beef tartare and a steak served with green asparagus and a dark reduction sauce. The presentation was good and clearly showed ambition. The steak dish looked elegant on the plate, with the asparagus, sauce and garnish nicely arranged. However, the meat itself looked and tasted somewhat less juicy and expressive than expected. It lacked depth, fullness of flavour and the kind of strong, memorable taste one would expect from a restaurant of this level. The beef tartare was also visually attractive, served with capers, pickles, finely chopped onion, herbs and a crisp garnish. Still, the tartare itself felt a little too soft and wet in texture, and the flavour did not have the clean, rich, balanced intensity that a very good tartare should have. It seemed to rely more on the side elements and presentation than on the depth and quality of the meat itself. I am not sure whether the issue was related to the ingredients, seasoning, or preparation, but both dishes lacked the culinary precision and flavour intensity I expected. Setting: 9/10 Staff friendliness: 9/10 Food presentation: 8/10 Taste of food: 7/10 If this had been an average restaurant, I would probably have rated the food one or two points higher. But given that this is one of the more reputable and atmospherically beautiful restaurants in Lucerne, expectations are naturally higher. Overall, it was a pleasant experience because of the setting and service, but the food itself did not quite reach the same level.

Absolut hochstehendes kulinarisches Vergnügen. Mein Mann und ich und unser Teenagersohn bekamen einen Tisch direkt am Fenster mit wunderbarer Aussicht auf den Garten, den See und das Bootshaus. Das Essen war von A bis Z auf höchstem Niveau, der Service ebenso. Preislich auf einem hohen Segment, ist jedoch gerechtfertigt für das, was man erhält inklusive inklusive bester Lage. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Abend, das Essen war hervorragend, die Bedienung sehr freundlich und die Armosphäre sehr angenehm. Der idyllische Aussenbereich mit Blick auf die Berge und den See hat den Abend perfekt gemacht.

Wir waren im Restaurant Villa Schweizerhof Luzern essen – und der Abend war leider sehr enttäuschend. Der Chef/Serviceleiter war zu Beginn ausgesprochen sympathisch, aufmerksam und hat sich wirklich Mühe gegeben. Das möchten wir ausdrücklich positiv hervorheben. Danach übernahm jedoch eine Servicekraft, und ab diesem Moment kippte die Stimmung komplett: Unsere Bitte nach der Weinkarte wurde ignoriert, obwohl sie „sofort“ gebracht werden sollte. Stattdessen sass sie an der Bar, ass und trank Wein. Als wir erneut nachfragen mussten – bereits als das Essen serviert war – reagierte sie genervt und verdrehte die Augen. Während des gesamten Abends wurde kaum abgeräumt, niemand fragte nach Getränken, und wir fühlten uns schlicht nicht willkommen. Sehr schade – besonders, weil der Start durch den Chef wirklich vielversprechend war.
