Our stay at Mandarin Oriental Luzern was truly the best hotel experience we've ever had. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely cared for. Johannes and his team was incredibly kind and attentive, personally ensuring our happiness every day. Everything was clean, with a fresh and luxurious scent throughout the hotel. The entire staff, especially in the restaurant, was beyond friendly—always smiling, warm, and professional. Breakfast was simply outstanding. High-quality ingredients, and delicious possibilities made every morning a delight. Beyond the impeccable service and comfort, the location is unbeatable. Right by the lake, with breathtaking views, it’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy Lucerne. If you're looking for an unforgettable stay, this is the place for luxury and comfort. I highly recommend it!

Everyone was so kind so accommodating and treated us with such care and specialness. Especially Emilia at the front desk and Tiago in Conceriege. Really made our trip extra special! We will be back!!!

Beautiful historic building and location. Valentina at the front Desk was fantastic. The concierge very very helpful. The bellboys extremely friendly when we took the mandarin ebikes for a ride. The waiters at the Brasserie both inside and outside very friendly and educated. The room decoration very very nice and liked how silent the rooms were.

This was our first time staying at a MO property and we had an amazing stay! Beautiful location right in front of the lake. It was a 10 min walk to Old Town center or a 3 min ride on the bus that ran every few minutes right in front of the hotel. Also a 5 min bus ride to the Transport Museum and Lucerne Lido in the opposite direction of Old Town. We also enjoyed walking back to the hotel along the lake each night. We had 2 king bed rooms that were connected via a small hallway. The beds were comfortable (if you prefer them a little firm) and were well appointed. The only cons were that there was no drawer space for any of our clothes and the bathrooms were quite small compared to other luxury properties we've stayed at. Every staff member was extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely consider staying at the MO again in the future.

I’ve been here three times already, and I’ll definitely keep coming back. The service is outstanding, the location is absolutely beautiful, and if you make a reservation in advance, you’ll usually get a great table. The staff are highly knowledgeable, especially when it comes to drinks and wine recommendations. Their suggestions are always excellent and enhance the overall dining experience. I also really appreciate how attentive the team is when it comes to food allergies and dietary requirements. They genuinely care about their guests and make you feel well looked after. I would especially like to thank my waiter, Fabio. His service was exceptional—professional, friendly, attentive, and genuinely warm. He made me feel truly welcome and very well looked after throughout my visit. I honestly can’t think of any downside. My only recommendation is to make a reservation, as it’s definitely worth it.
